Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's one of the worst cases of sexual abuse the Las Vegas area has ever seen. Three adults, charged with videotaping sexual attacks on several children, including members of their own family. The trio included Christopher Sena, his ex-wife Terrie Sena, and his wife Deborah Sena. The three lived together with some of their children in the same trailer where police said the abuse occured for over 12 years.Christopher Sena, appeared in court for his hearing Friday, after additional complaints were filed against him. He is accused of being the ringleader of the sex ring. Prosecutors showed graphic images and videos of the sexual abuse, all of which they said, Christopher Sena videotaped or photographed. The defense attorneys argued Christopher Sena was not the ringleader, and that his ex-wives were not forced to perform any of the acts. But Christopher Sena's son, now 20-year old Terry, took the stand saying his father told everybody what to do, including asking Terry to perform sexual intercourse with his stepmother, Deborah.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Most of us need a little extra cash in our pocket from time to time. And when money runs low, some turn to payday loans. But as one Las Vegas woman recently learned, you've got to be careful about who you do business with."I don't know if I'm more mad at them, or if I'm more mad at myself," says Roxie Fletcher. She's angry, and she's not keeping it to herself. Money is tight these days. So she recently went online, and filled out several applications for a loan. It wasn't long after that, when she got a call."He said that I qualified for $2,000," says Roxie.Great news! But it came with a catch. Before sending her the money, Roxie had to make a $220 payment."It was for an insurance policy that was suppose cover the loan, if for some reason that I didn't work, or some reason couldn't pay the loan," says Roxie.Roxie was instructed to wire the money through Moneygram. But she told the caller, she wasn't comfortable with that."I kept sayng I don't know, I don't know... To don't have money to give. That's why I'm applying for a loan," says Roxie. But he reassured her, she'd have the cash within a couple hours, after making the payment."I got in the car. He was on the phone with me the whole time. I went to WalMart. He goes, I'll help you over the phone fill out the MoneyGram thing," says Roxie. This receipt shows Roxie sent the money. A couple hours later, the lender called back."And told me that I needed to pay $427," says Roxie. That's when she realized, she had been scammed."I said oh my God. I said I'm not going to send you any more money... And she says, well do you want me to put this on hold? And I said no. I want my $220 back. That's what I want," says Roxie. But Roxie never got her money back, and she never got her loan. Now she's taking time to warn others."They know what to say to put you at ease so that you feel comfortable sending them your hard earned money," says Roxie. So here's the Contact 13 bottom line. The Federal Trade Commission says, if you're told to pay a fee in advance for a loan, then it's a scam. Never send money to someone you don't know, with a prepaid credit card or through a wire service. Once that money is sent, it's gone for good. If you feel you've been the target of a scam, remember, we've got your back Southern Nevada. Contact us at For Contact 13, I'm Tricia Kean.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Losing a child in a hot car has to be every parents worst nightmare. Before this week, it hasn't happened in several years in Las Vegas. That's exactly why a Mom who lost her son is speaking to us now. We were there on May 6, 2001 when Jody Esposito's life changed forever. "What goes through your head at that point is're always what if, what if, what if." Jody's son Michael was playing hide-and-seek at the motor speedway. When it was Michael's turn to hide, he stowed away in the trunk of his mom Jody's car, but he was locked in. After just 10 minutes the damage was done, and it wasn't even a hundred degrees outside. "I just need parents to know they don't need to go through this. They don't." To make sure, you've always got to check that backseat-- make it a part of your routine no matter what season it is. Like in Jody's case though, you also have to be sure your car is locked so a child doesn't accidentally get stuck inside. One weird trick: take off one of your shoes and put it in the backseat. You'll have to check back there since there's no way you're going to work without a shoe. For several years, Las Vegas has had zero children die in hot cars. The four-year-old who passed away this week is the 16th child to die in a hot car in the U.S. this year and the 1st in Nevada. Nevada comes in at 19 of the states with the most child vehicular heatstroke deaths with a total of 15 fatalities since 1996. 13 happened in Clark County. This whole year has been especially tough for Jody, and this latest news is hard to hear.
