Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police have made an arrest in Friday night's Bellagio robbery.The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.Officers determined a suspect entered the casino and approached an employee. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded money.The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.On Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Paradise Road to investigate reports of a suspicious male who checked into a hotel.Arriving officers conducted a preliminary investigation and determined the male was involved in the Bellagio robbery.The suspect was later taken into custody with assistance from the LVMPD SWAT team.The suspect was transported to the Clark County Detention Center. He was booked as John Doe on charges of robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary with use of a deadly weapon.At this time, detectives have determined that Jesse Jones is no longer a person of interest in this incident.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Rain and high winds swept across portions of Southern Nevada on Sunday.Many areas in Clark County saw thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. Flash flood warnings were in place for much of the evening.The Nevada Highway Patrol said I-15 was shutdown near Primm on Sunday for a short time at mile markers 11-13. There was standing water in the area and drivers were being diverted.Traffic was backed up for miles.In Jean, State Route 161 was also briefly shutdown after flooding brought heavy debris onto the roadway.A group of motorcyclists, who were stopped nearby, told Action News it was terrifying to be on the roads during the storm.With tears in her eyes, Laura Pendleton said, "The visibility rate was so bad. Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police were called to the scene of a shooting that left one person dead.It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday near Walnut and Alexander roads.Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.No suspect information was provided.Action News will update this story as more information becomes available.
